POWW had an weekend full of twists and surprises in front of the crowd at the VFW in Arlington Heights! Chazz Moretti, who has put all things on hold in order to end the career of Melanie Cruise, announced a change of plans. He announced that he had made a change and Cruise would not be facing Taylor Made, but one Nikki St. John . The deal was if Melanie could beat Nikki, then she would get a match against Moretti himself! After a hard fought match, Nikki decided it was too much bang for not enough buck and walked aout allowing Cruise to win by count out. It was the announced that Moretti would face Cruise on May 19 in Elk Grove in a "Fans Bring the Weapons Match"!

WIth the crowd anticipating the first one-on-one match up between "The Natural" GQ and "Picture Perfect" Logan Scott, a third person entered the arena. Regional Television Champion Joey Cece addressed the crowd and interjected himself into the match AND the the title was on the line. All three men used to be part of the defunct group Picture Perfect and their actions in the match proved they all knew each other well. With no clear aggressor the match was fast-paced and no one man had the advantage. Just as it seemed Joey might be turning the momentum around, Justin James and the Revelation attacked Cece in the most brutal fashion, leaving him lying bleeding from the mouth. While this was going on GQ had knocked Logan down and out and made the pin on Cece to become new Regioanl TV Champion! Many say that he could not have done it without the outside interference and Logan Scott is gunning for GQ even more now that he has the title around his waist. GQ said he will be a fighting champion and will prove that he is worthy of the belt!

One of the most anticipated matches was the match that had Warden Ortiz coming out of retirement to face the scourge of POWW, leader of the Rawbone Roughnecks and current POWW World Champion Ruff Crossing. Crossing came to the ring and announced that even though Ortiz said he didn't want the title he would put it on the line anyway AND told Hokinson and Nikki to stay in the back. Ortiz came to the ring and the match began. Ortiz looked as if he hadn't lost a step as he went blow for blow with Crossing. The match went back and forth and it seemed that Ortiz may get the advantage when he landed a big half-nelson slam on Crossing, but as he went for the cover Nikki ran out to the ring and distracted the referee. Ortiz turned away from Crossing to yell at Nikki, when David Hokinson, his former partner slid into the ring and cracked him in the head with a pipe! Hokinson slid out and Crossing made the cover for the win. After the match, the gloating Hokinson was challenged by the Warden to a match on June 9 in that same venue!
